What a marvelous Christmas present!
I've been an Irish Tenors' fan for several years but I'd never attended
a concert and, as we live in Denver, I thought I probably never would.
But as a special Christmas gift for me, my husband purchased tickets to the Beaver Creek concert and then, as he had business in Cheyenne at the last minute, he also surprised me with tickets to a second concert.
I've been reading the reviews on Anthony's Fan's Site, and I know
many of you have given the song list, so there is no point in my repeating that. I'll just say that some selections were particularly memorable.
Anthony singing Ave Maria
Finbar with How Great Thou Art
Karl singing Morning Has Broken
I was so glad the program included the traditionally Irish songs. But it being the Christmas season, I loved the nice mix of religious and "fun" selections. The Tenors seemed to have a wonderful time with Fairy Tale of New York.
I thought all three were in good form, especially considering they have been on the road for several weeks now. And they are all such fine looking men. Those who have never been to a concert should know that pictures don't do them justice.
They wished us all a Merry Christmas and I certainly hope the same for them and that they all had a safe trip home.
