IRISH TENORS'
REVIEWS
TEMPLE HOYNE BUELL THEATRE
DENVER, COLORADO
SEPTEMBER 1, 2005
What a wonderful experience!

I hadn't seen the Irish Tenors before and was disappointed to find
that John McDermott wasn't performing. But I have to say that can't
imagine a better concert.

Anthony Kearns and Finbar Wright were wonderful beyond my
expectations.

I didn't really keep track of what they sang because I wanted to simply
watch and listen.

But I especially enjoyed "Boolavogue," since I'd just ready the wonderful
history of the song on this web site.

Finbar's "How Great Thou Art" was very special, too.

I had heard that there might not be as many Irish songs as usual but
that turned out not to be true. I remember the joy of hearing the familiar
"Danny Boy," as well as "Forty Shades of Green," "I'll Take You Home
Again Kathleen," "Courtin' In The Kitchen" and so many others that I
can't remember.

I thought the duets they did were grand. "The Harp That Once,"
"Lord of the Dance," "Go Lasie Go," "A Nation Once Again" and more.

It was a lovely evening and I certainly encourage anyone who hasn't seen
the Irish Tenors to make a point to do so.
