IRISH TENORS'
REVIEWS
My friend Marleen insisted I go see the Irish Tenors with her and
although I didn't know much about them, I enjoy Irish music and since
I'm a University of North Carolina graduate, I always enjoy events at
Aycock Auditorium.

Hence, we went to see the Irish Tenors and I must say I enjoyed
every minute.

Marleen wanted me to try to keep track of the music and to
write a review for her favorite Irish Tenor's website, so here it is.

I'm not all that familiar with the music, so the list is far from complete, but
here are the ones I remember. You'll excuse me if the song names aren't
quite right, but I imagine those of you looking at Mr. Kearns' website
will have the general idea.

Star of County Down
Rose of Tralee
Love Thee Dearest
Counting Medley
Little Bridgid Flynn
Danny Boy
Bear Picnic
South of the Border
Lift the Wings
Galway Bay
Go Lassie Go
Whiskey in the Jar
Toora Loora Loora
When Irish Eyes Are Smiling

Some selections were sung by all three while others were solos.
I enjoyed them all. It seems to me that each of the three Tenors
has his own particular sound. I enjoyed all three whether as solos
or together.

I should add that they are certainly fine looking men and they
appear to enjoy singing together.

All in all, it was delightful evening.
