St.Ann's Catholic Church
Haines City, FL
March 26, 2010
Being an Anthony Kearns concert, it was, as always terrific!
I won't go through the complete list of songs as you all are familiar
with most of them, but to name a few...
Vienna Mine
Sweet Vale of Avoca
Both 'Kitty" songs
Because You're Mine
Songs at Eventide
McBreen's Heifer
Empty Chairs, Empty Tables
The Bold Gendarmes and Friendship
Funiculi, funicula
Since it was a church, he couldn't forget Ave Maria and it was
absolutely magnificant.
And there was a lovely Trees from the poem by Joyce Kilmer.
The encores were Danny Boy and Granada. A couple of
times Anthony commented that Patrick was his orchestra,
Granada is a perfect example of that!
Patrick, as usual, entertained with several of his delightful
songs and stories.
The church was barely half full, I don't think there was much
advertising. If they have him back, word-of-mouth will almost
be enough advertising. When he first came out on stage,
a woman sitting in front of me said to her husband "he's so young!".
He had the crowd in his corner after the first song.
It was a wonderful evening.
Thanks to a faithful fan.
