It's a rare occasion when Anthony has an opportunity for a pre-concert meeting in the community where he's to perform. But on October 12, 2004, Anthony, accompaniest Patrick Healy and booking agent Vincent Mitchell flew into Monroe, LA for a meeting with the combined boards of the Northeast Louisiana Arts Council, the Monroe Symphony Orchestra, and the Monroe Symphony League at the Bayou DeSiard Country Club.
What does that expression mean? He's probably thinking...what a lovely place and what charming, hospitable people.
Our thanks to Tommy Usrey, President and CEO of the Northeast Louisiana Arts Council, one of the very charming and hospitable people, for providing the pictures which give us a glimpse of a special occasion in the deep South.
True elegance.
An opportunity to meet with friends...
and colleagues.
