This was my first Anthony Kearns concert. I knew I would enjoy it but didn't
realize how much.
I had been living vicariously through all of you for a number of years.
Before, when I saw The Irish Tenors on TV(especially Anthony), all I could think
was how good they are and wonder what they would sound like in person.
At least now, when I hear Anthony sing I can smile and remember sitting in
Pensacola being amazed.
To me the caliber of performer that he is shines through when you can
say he is as good with a piano as he is with a full orchestra.
I was so please to discover that Anthony, Patrick and Vincent are as nice
as I had heard. What can you say about Patrick. He is so talented and
absolutely hilarious.
I'm not as familiar with some of the music unless Anthony has sung it with
the Tenors. Having said that I know " Ireland, Mother Ireland" and " Danny Boy"
were not sung.. I love the song" Danny Boy" but it makes me cry so for that
I am thankful. After all when you meet the "Guys" you want to look your best,
so blood shot eyes and running mascara would not be a pretty sight. They did,
however, add "Grace", which was absolutely beautiful. I may have missed more
additions or deletions but everything that was sung was great. Don't get me
wrong, because I love hearing Anthony sing, but he could have just stood there
and I would have been happy. "Lets face it he is definitely easy on the eyes".
I have to say that I was so pleased at being able to meet some of Anthony's
other fans and look forward to meeting more. This has really motivated me to try
and get Anthony to come to my hometown (Tallahassee, Florida).
