IRISH TENORS'
REVIEWS
The crowd was disappointing but the entertainment was
outstanding!

I'd never seen the Irish Tenors, although I had seen Anthony and I
was excited at the prospect of seeing all three. It certainly won't be
my last Irish Tenor concert. They looked and sounded wonderful.
I was so glad I'd decided to come.

The program started with an orchestral introduction followed by Star of the County Down and a medley of Irish songs sung by all three Tenors. Then all three sang individually. Being a Philadelphian,
I naturally appreciated Anthony's Off to Philadephia.

I have the new Irish Tenors CD "Ireland" so was thrilled to hear
Anthony sing Knocknashee. It's such a beautiful song and the
audience loved it. I also particularly enjoyed Finbar Wright's
Beautiful Dreamer and Karl Scully's Lift the Wings.

I felt that it wasn't just the voices and the fine orchestra that
was making the concert so enjoyable, but the obvious
comradary among the three. I believe they really like each
other which sometimes comes as a surprise given the
rivalry among entertainers in this day and age.

I'm afraid I don't remember all of the sngs, but I knw Danny Boy,
Whiskey in he Jar, Go Lassie Go, and The Old Man were included.

All I can say is, if you haven't been to an Irish Tenors concert,
you really should go.
