The concert! It was spectacular!! I have never heard Anthony
sound better. It amazes me that the best is able to improve,
but amaze me he does... and everyone else that was there.
He sang three songs I hadn't heard him sing before. "You Are
My Heart's Delight", "The Impossible Dream" and "Time To
Say Good-bye". The latter brought oohs and aahs and applause
from the audience when they heard the intro, that's a first.
Anthony received a standing ovation for it. He should have
gotten one for "Ave Maria". Anthony also received a standing
O for Granada and of course Danny Boy. I don't particularly
care for Granada...unless Anthony is singing it. The first time
I heard him sing it was in Worcester, he was almost half
way through it before I knew what it was. He was tremendous
then, and Sunday was just beyond everything. I truly thought
the church was going to implode, he was that powerful.
Patrick was his usual self. He had the crowd in his palm...
AGAIN, with his stories and his "Isle of Innisfree".
Everyone loved Anthony and Patrick.
