Thank Goodness no thunderstorms in Richmond this year to leave
poor Anthony and Patrick in dark hotel rooms, but as we were leaving
the concert, we heard screaming sirens, and several big fire engines
came barreling down Three Chopt Road, red lights blazing ! I knew
The Man is HOT, but....... ! Fortunately the alarm was not for us.
Anthony Kearns is balm for the soul. I am glad he seemed to do more
Irish tunes and evergreens than last year. My cousin, who lived in Galway ,
was able to come up. She had a ball. I could hear her quietly singing
along with many of the Irish songs.
One of the last he did was " I'm falling in love with someone.....
If only she would fall in love with me ", and I answered in my heart,
" I WILL, Anthony.....I WILL ! "
Patrick had us falling off the pews in laughter with his tale of Carmen.
What an incredible storyteller he is ! I love his droll sense of humor.
I suppose their schedule is tight, and we were only able to coax
Anthony back for one encore this year.
