CHRISTMAS TOUR
North Fork Theatre
Westbury, NY
December 8, 2005
Hi Gang,

Sitting in Yonkers watching it snow and wishing I were in Syracuse.
But it looks like the weather gods are not cooperating at all. Last night
at Westbury, the fellas proved that even though the venue is not the favorite
of most, but the fellas proved that they still are. First of there wasn't a
M & G since the weather was to turn off nasty and the fellas had to get
to Syracuse, so directly after the concert they got on their buses and
headed out. They should have made the trip without many problems since
the snow in this area did not start until about 2 or 3 this morning.

The fellas had a busy day yesterday, they were on Siriius Radio earlier
in the day and had problems getting to and out of the city.

The concert contained songs from both the Sacred CD and Heritage.
They were all in great voice and humor, and I have to say Finbar looks
good, which was the general opinion, in any direction he is traveling.
We got to hear some old favorite Christmas songs and a great new one
from John called the Secret of Christmas which was very beautiful.
Finbar sang one of my all time favorite songs Mille Cherubini as beautiful
as I have ever heard it. He version of Mary's Boy Child got a great
reception . Hearing How Great Thou Art made it seem more like
Christmas was truly here. Anthony and John were great too, but
since this is a group for Finbar, of course I am a bit bias in my review
and I make not excuses for that fact!! The Christmas concerts were
very much missed last year, and from the talk I heard, everyone was
delighted, even if there were only four of them, that we did get to have
them this year!! As I reported there wasn't an M & G but it was
arranged that I got back stage to deliver in person the UFO gifts to
Finbar in person. I found out after the concert I was to have seen him
before the concert, but since the security people would not let me take
the bags into the venue, thanks to Sean Casey, I got to go back after
the concert and present the cuff links to Finbar, who know what the
Ogham writing was on them and I also presented him with a check
for $200.00 for him to donate to a chairty of his choice. I was to
tell you all thank you very much and a Happy Christmas.

It looks like one Christmas concert is all I am going to get to this year,
but that is one more than I got last year, so I am HAPPY!! Those
of you that are in Syracuse tonight, have a great time !!
